Boeing 767 home cockpit
This website is about flying in my home built Boeing 767-300ER flight simulator. I travel the virtual skies of the world-wide VATSIM network together with many other Virtual Pilots and Virtual Air Traffic Controllers.
My simulator is based on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX with the Level-D 767-300ER add-on and Opencockpits hardware (IOcards) and software (SIOC).

The Level-D 767 aircraft is interfaced digitally via Level-D's Software Development Kit (SDK).
I have developed a computer program called lekseecon that automatically connects the SIOC software environment to the Level-D SDK.
For people using the Opencockpits modules I have made plug and play SIOC scripts for using these modules with the Level-D 767 (powered by lekseecon).
For non Opencockpit users I still have my good old FSCONV program available, it provides lots of new FSUIPC offsets for the Level-D 767.

- July 22: Version 1.4 of my Plug and Play files for Opencockpits modules is available; bug fixed in the ATC module running under FS2004.
- July 13: At the Opencockpits IOcards page I have put a picture of how I have configured and powered my USB Outputs card. Some explanation is provided also.
- July 11: Added SIOC how to examples about the dual Rotary Encoder and the FSUIPC read/write offset
- July 7: Added a SIOC how to example about the SUBRUTINE Var. Added a SIOC presentation from Opencockpits to my SIOC page. Added the SIOC Golden Rule...
- June 6: Added a separate page with information about my Plug and Play files for Opencockpit Modules powered by lekseecon, to be used with the Level-D 767.
- May 13: Replaced the two Samsung hard drives in my Flight Sim PC by 80Gb SSDs from Intel. SSDs are faster, use less electrical power, produce no noice and give better performance. Prices are coming down so I thought why not, it's also good for the Environment! ;-)
- May 8: Expanded the SIOC how to example about Playing a sound with tips how to play a sound repeatedly and how to stop a playing sound.
- May 2: Added a SIOC how to example about Playing a sound (Captain: there's smoke coming out of the right engine ... )
- May 1: Upgraded the SDKDemo example to Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express C++
- April 23: Added a SIOC how to example about writing negative numbers to a display
- April 22: Added a SIOC how to example about Suppressing (blanking) leading zeroes in a display.
- April 18: My lekseecon Forum has moved to MyCockpit. This saves me from technical and maintenance work (fighting spam bots and upgrading to new phpbb versions ...) and at MyCockpit more people may get to know and benefit from lekseecon. Also my lekseecon related downloads have moved to a special lekseecon section of the downloads page at MyCockpit.
- April 12: lekseecon version 6.0 released. See page 46 of the Manual about the changes.
- April 11: Added a lekseecon Frequenly asked Questions
- April 10: Added a link to some pictures of thyson8's 767 simulator, http://www.flickr.com/photos/thyson8/ He has used 8 (!) Opencockpits Master Cards to build this very nice simulator. Powered by lekseecon of course.
- April 2: Removed my Twitter feed. You cannot give good news messsages with just 140 characters. I'll switch back to a more classical style ;-)
